The Little Falls Arts & Crafts Fair Celebrates 50 Years in 2023

One of my favorite events in the entire state is celebrating half a century in 2023. The Little Falls Arts and Crafts Fair marks 50 years of vendors lining the streets of the town on September 9th and 10th.

This event is one that I have only missed a couple of times in my life, (illness and college stopped me for two years) but other than those minor hiccups, I make a point to be in Little Falls the weekend after Labor Day every year. My mom, sister, and grandma are usually with me (or some combination of the three) and we browse and shop to our heart’s content.

Some of my favorite pieces I’ve gotten throughout the years include a hand-painted portrait of Tom Petty, a vinyl record turned into a clock, a hand-thrown spoon rest, and I always pick up a new set of hand-sewn pot holders every year. My dog Norman’s favorite treat from the craft fair is the deer antler chewies. I pick up a year’s supply for him every September.

With vendors coming from all across the country, you just never know what you will find. There’s something for everyone at this craft fair. I always tell people if you can’t find something you like, then you just need to wander down the next street because there’s more to explore!

This year the Little Falls Arts and Crafts fair is celebrating its 50th anniversary. To mark the occasion I got to meet with Purva Watten (President/CEO) and Mary Bednarek (Office and Financial Coordinator) from the Little Falls Chamber of Commerce to talk all about the craft fair.
