June is here, and in my world, that means Summer Festival Season. No matter the size of the town most of them take time during the summer to showcase the pride in their community, and bring people together for fun events. Whether it is just for one day or a whole week, there is fun to be had and heritage to celebrate.
This summer on The Small Town Tourist Podcast I am going to do my best to shine a light on these awesome festivals with the Summer Festival Spotlight Series. I’ll be talking with event organizers about their summer festivals to learn more about them, and dive deep into the activities that are happening during the fest. Parades, medallion hunts, street dances, and more, we are going to get into it this summer.
