It’s like fashion week, if it was crammed into one day and one location and held at a supper club in Central Minnesota.
Theory Clothing Co. Boutique was started in the fall of 2019 by Stacy Jackson and Tracy Bartkowicz in St. Cloud. The cousins grew up together in Swanville, and worked alongside each other in the beauty industry for years, dreaming of what it would be like to be their own bosses. That dream came true when they opened Theory Clothing Co. Boutique.
The St. Cloud location was where they got their start, but once the pandemic hit in March of 2020 the women reevaluated and realized moving to their hometown of Swanville made so much more sense. They gave it a trial run in a small space in town, and less than a year later moved into a permanent spot on DeGraff Avenue.
In addition to running the boutique, the ladies have also been champions for women-owned businesses in the area, hosting “Ladies Day Out” shopping events where local vendors were invited to set up shop for the day, network, and sell their products. This fall, that event has a different spin on it with the Boutique Bash on September 24th.
The event will be taking place at The Hub Supper Club in Burtrum, Minnesota and feature some of the best local boutiques and businesses that specialize in all things fashion, beauty, and wellness. The event will be happening during a Minnesota Vikings game and the goal is to host the fashion show at half-time of the game.
Check out more on the Boutique Bash on the Facebook event and be sure to RSVP for updates.
